Phone Replacment/Family Plan ETF Question

I have an LGENV2 that I've already had to replace one and will have to replace again. The 'ok' and send button began to stick and the phone decided to randomly power off, I went to the local verizon store and got it replaced and now, not even three weeks in, the phone's 'ok' and 'send' buttons are sticking/not working. I've read the reviews on this site about the LGENV2 and everyone is complaining about the same problem, is it even possible to get a complete different phone?

If not, then I'll be more then likely canceling and this brings me to my next question

I don't own the account, however if I cancel and pay the ETF, will it show up as a negative on

the account holders credit?

I have a similar problem on my Env2 right now. My OK key is working, but some of my other keys don't work. It is a common problem on Env2 yes. However to be honest you don't even need outside keys. You can still dial out on keyboard & message on keyboard. Plus when receiving calls just put option "answer on any key" & when you press any key you can talk on the outside part. That or just open into keyboard & shut phone to talk.

It should not show up a negative as long as you pay an early termination fee.

Sorry to hear about the problem with your phone. You don't need to make another trip to a store. Make it easier on yourself and call customer service at 800-922-0204 for technical support. Make sure you call from a different phone and have your phone with you, otherwise they won't be able to help you.  They'll troubleshoot the problem the best they can. It sounds like, however, they will need to send you a Certified Like New phone. One will be rushed to you by FedEx, usually overnighted at no charge. These phones carry the balance of the manufacturer's one year warranty or 90 days, whichever is greater.

Should you decide to cancel the line before the contract, there will be a pro-rated ETF charge assessed on the bill. The account owner will not be assessed any negative charge on their credit report, unless they let their account become delinquent. Only the account owner is able to cancel a line.

I have the LGenV2 phone as well and just recently the OK button and the send key and the 1 key doesn't work. I can't answer the phone when someone calls me. I have to open the phone hit send close the phone and be able to answer it. I was thinking about getting a replacement but after reading what everybody said here I don't think I want the same phone.  I had the phone for a year already and now I want a different one.

You can set the option for answering a phone call to "any key".   Just go to settings-->call settings-->answer options-->Any key

Now you can press any key on the keypad to answer calls. Doesn't have to always the the send key.
