I just bought a new Honda Accord, it has Panda Radio in it. I think to use this feature it requires using my S3. If so this will increase my data useage. Am i right?

The new car with Pandora or Slacker do not need to be teathered to your smartphone. you simply go to http://www.pandora.com from your home computer and sign up for a free account. then in the cars settings (look at your owners manual) put in your account name and password that you chose when you signed up on line and you will be able to listen to Pandora radio without ever using your cell phone to do so.

hope that helped?

I found out more information at https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/model/content/pandora_radio_faq.html

it speaks of using a usb connection and a bluetooth connection. so to answer your question I would say yes you will be charged for data.
