I just got my first post account not long ago. So, I was wondering if I had to cancel this account by the 14-day period would I be able to reopen it back up again? If so what is the waiting time between closing and reopening the same account again?

IF you reopen the account within 59 days, your account is restored.  After that you start as a new customer.

IF your account is suspended, you will still be billed.

IF you cancel within the 14 days, it is like the account was never there, you start as new.  Any credits are forfeit.

as long as you don't owe anything and account is closed with final bill /payment then you have no problem to work on new acct

I'm glad you chose to come to Verizon Wireless, mel52980. I hope we can continue as your wireless provider. Why is it that you're looking to disconnect so soon? There were some great suggestions from the other community members for options of suspending your line instead of disconnecting. Also, if you do happen to disconnect within the 14 days, we can restore the account within 50 days for a one-time $25 fee per line. After that time, you are welcome to come back as a brand new line of service.
