Apparently VW service has been out for about 9 hours since noon today in the Brunswick, GA area (plus apparently other locations). I think it may be back on now. However, I have spent the past hour trying to find a service outage notice and status on the web. I cannot find any place that Verizon posts such information. Am I just missing the correct place to go, or does VW not care enough about their customers to bother to post outage notices and status updates?
Over four years and still no service outage map or board? Does Verizonwireless expect its customers to rely on news outlets and threads here on this forum in order to become apprised of service outages? Other businesses post notices of outages (and reports of expected times of restoration of services) on their websites, so that customers don't have to waste their time dealing with personnel trained to treat every "issue" as a problem caused by the customer, the customer's device, or device settings.
