My wife and I have an old family plan (just minutes with data and text added). Our lines have separate contract dates...her line has the 2GB data...and mine the grandfathered Unlimited Data. What I am trying to find out is if her line signs a new contract for a subsidized phone...does it force both of us into the full new Share Everything plan (and hence me losing my unlimited...which I average 8-12GB of usage)??? Or can her line be somewhat separate still???
Nothing need change unless you're on some old obsolete Altel plan or something such as that. Don't let the sales clerk change you to Share Everything because they will try to do that.
