I noticed today that I haven't been getting any push notifications over Verizon's LTE network. By push notification I mean a notification that should be triggered when not inside the app already. When I got home this evening, all the push notifications that I hadn't gotten throughout the day all suddenly came in, and that was because I connected to my home WiFi.
Anyone else been having this problem recently?

expertsnipo Receiving push notifications is a must. Before you arrived at home, did you notice if you had 4g signal for data? What phone do you have?

I had LTE all day long. I've also confirmed with a few of my friends and my
parents that they're not receiving push notifications promptly either. I
did some testing with a couple of phones and I've confirmed that for some
reason push notifications don't come through unless connected to WiFi. For
example, I had to open my email/Facebook/hangouts apps to actually receive
new messages that had come through all day.

expertsnipo Thanks for the details. You mentioned testing this with other devices. What make and model phone do you have and were the other phones the same?
