At the end of March a storm destroyed the North Adams, MA Verizon cell tower. A "C.O.W." was installed. To my knowledge, a new tower has not been erected. Since March the service has been terrible in Northern Berkshire County. I spend more time calling my friends back from dropped calls (often multiple times per conversation) than I do actually speaking with them. I understand from an April news article that Verizon has to wait for the landlord's plan to rebuild but it would be excellent to receive some kind of update as being essentially disconnected from friends feels very 1990 and my hand writing has deteriorated such that I'd hate to have to start corresponding by post.
