Lol. Already discounted huh? Then by definition that makes it regular price. So where's the discount for 10+ year customers. Your wording is a bad excuse for taking advantage of your customers.

Definitely agree on this. I was an alltel customer and then a Verizon customer after the merger of the two. IE a Long Time. Verizon keeps pestering me to go to an unlimited plan. I only have two smartphones on the account now and pay for the 4gb plan. I pay $169 per month usually. I have the 15% discount through my employer and the 5% paperless discount.

It makes zero sense financially for me to move to an unlimited plan with only two phones. The 4gb plan is $80 total for two phones before my discount. Going to unlimited would nearly double my bill.

The only reason I would ever switch right now is so I don’t have to yell at my wife for being irresponsible with data usage every fudging month. But I would rather have that stress than pay way too much for an unlimited data plan.

Call to ask if there is a loyalty package you could be switched to.

But the max on the shared plans is 10G. Up until recently, it was only 8G. My family shared 12-15G with AT&T. They basically force you to go unlimited or scramble for wifi everywhere you go and risk overages.. i don't see the point in denying the discount.

4 lines on the 10 gig plan is $140

4 lines on unlimited starter is $140

Or switch to prepaid and set up a multi line group.   Everyone can get their own data pool and no overages.  Put the savings aside and pay full price for phones.

If all you see is problems, without looking at the alternatives, you'll never see there ARE solutions.

Great Call runs on Verizon for elderly family, that is where jitterbug phones come from.

Visible runs on Verizon, it's version of Cricket.

mikeesia, thanks for reaching out. We do offer discounts on the unlimited plans when you sign up for auto-pay (debit card or checking account) and paper-free billing. Check the plans here https://www.verizon.com/plans/

I have a question for you personally. Do you have an unlimited plan and are you supplied with a form of corporate discount? Verizon is already one of, if not the highest priced service around and I still drop data and call coverage working on the road, especially at the current job site in NE. Maybe they should have discounts for lack of coverage they state they have on the interactive map provided on their own website. 🤷🏽‍♂️
Basically Verizon is giving a corporate discount to their clients unless they are on a premium unlimited plan, at which they set a higher than average price and take some off to say they are discounting that plan in house already. Seriously?

For “who” personally?  You didn’t @Codyturgeon  mention or quote the person you are asking.  And many of these posts are months old….

if Verizon coverage does not suit your needs, it is entirely on you to change to a different carrier. It’s not like Verizon can just pop up a tower where you need one.

are used AT&T and Verizon, both of them have some dead spots in common. Some of them have dead spots where the other one has coverage. T-Mobile is pretty much garbage in my area, too many dead spots.
I purchased a car booster, which plugs into my cigarette lighter to improve signal when I’m on the road.  Check the Weboost website.
