Verizon Users at my location have no Data as of about 10:30am 10/17/19.
Zip Code 48183, Woodhaven Michigan, Allen Road south of West Road.
downdetector.com shows a big red blob over southeast Michigan for Verizon.

Same issue in 48034, Southfield MI.
Chat with a Verizon support rep revealed that apparantly there is a large outage, but it's effecting Prepaid customers only. I had initially assumed it was something on my line specifically because the phone issued to me by my employer on a Verizon contract was still working fine. Never got clear answer.

Definitely not prepaid only. We have no LTE and cannot make phone calls in MI and we are not prepaid customers.

I'm not prepaid. I tried calling, the wait time was too long... doesn's sound like it would make a difference.

Yeah, apparantly the Prepaid bit was inaccurate. Guessing the support rep was mistaken or misinformed.
