I was wondering if Verizon will be launching out a new design of the GizmoPal. The one Verizon currently has is not suited for an 8 to 11 year old. The design is way to babyish. The design should also be kid friendly such as playing hard and getting wet, with more features such as calling 5 numbers and the parents could text message. I am currently a Verizon customer and had to buy the Filip because the device had more to offer especially for an 8 year old. I hate the fact I need to use AT&T for this device so that is why I am stating this comment.
Wow! Just looked at the fiLIP and it is awesome compared to the Gizmo pal. We purchased the gizmo last month but are having difficulty changing settings easily. How do you like the fiLIP? What plan did you use/monthly cost. May look at changing if verizon continues to not resolve our issues.
