Network Extender Problem

So I've had my network extender for about 2 weeks now and its seeming like about every day now I have to reset it by turning my modem off and unplug my network extender because the SYS light changes from blue to fast blinking red. Can anyone help me figure out why please?

I recently moved to Ocean Isle Beach, NC and I am having the same problem.  I keep losing the solid blue system light and it goes to red.  I have to unplug it regularly.  Any answer yet?  I am wondering if it is the crappy high speed by ATMC.  Max is 6 Mbps.
