Why am I paying $66 a month when I see prepaid plans for less?

Well I believe there are prepaid plans out there that are $5, but they don't give more than 50 minutes, no text, no data etc.

So, more info is needed. What does your $66 give you??

What do these prepaid for "less" give??

DIXIECUP2, keeping costs down as well as subscribing to the best plan to meet your needs are both very important. I'm assuming you're a Verizon Postpay plan holder. We would gladly provide assistance for you in comparing your current postpay plan with our Verizon Prepaid plan options at your convenience.

But before you decide to change your Postpay plan to our Prepay service, I recommend visiting our website to view additional information about our Prepaid plans at: http://vz.to/2sHsdCs. How does this sound? - RobertC_VZW

Because different plans have different prices and benefits???

It is your responsibility to choose the plan which is best for your needs.

If you want a less expensive plan, go with a less expensive plan. It is likely there are also postpaid plans which are less than $66/month. My postpaid plan with 4 smartphone lines and 1 smartwatch, for example, cost me $167/month which comes out to $41.75/month if you only count the smartphones. Less if you also count the smartwatch, but with only a $5/month line access fee I chose not to count that in this calculation.
