As soon as I heard that Verizon had been recording conversations and turning them over I was horrified but also relieved because my 2 year through-the-nose contract was up. I'll be going to Page Plus (which uses Verizon's towers) as they do not retain any of my personal identifying information and save me about $50/mo with 2GB/mo data. Not bad, eh?
