My business is trying to send emails out to our @vtext.com emails. My IP is [removed]

I keep getting an error message:

SMTP error from remote mail server after initial connection: 554 njbrspamp1.vtext.com

We are on a server and we are the only ones who own and use the IP in question. The server was just purchased so it may have been used by someone else before. But we are not on a shared hosting account.And we are not on any other blacklist anywhere. All emails work except for @vtext.com

I have contacted whitelist@verizononline.net and they said we are not blocked but they do not deal with @vtext.com. They said to contact abuse@verizonwireless.com and I have contacted them twice with no response.

What do I need to do to get this so emails can come through our website to our business contacts?

Please let me know what we can do to solve this issue immediately..

Vtext.com hasn’t worked through automated services and web servers in almost a year and if you click the links under More Like This, it goes back even further.

I have already read all of those. There is no answer on these. @vtext.com does work on other servers and web servers. It is not working on mine.

betrue We want you to be able to succesfully use your vtexts. Where you able to use this with your previous IP? Has your IT department proposed any security or options that might be blocking this service? Since it is working on other IPs, it would seem that this might be something that is being restriceted by it.

Yes we were able to use this with our other IP. But All other emails work. All other phone emails and emails to other email providers work. Verizon is the only one not working. The error code we get says the email is sent successfully. But Your end it blocked it from being received. "Errord Code: SMTP error from remote mail server after initial connection: 554 njbrspamp1.vtext.com"

I contacted your white list support and they said you guys must be blocking the IP.

I have read other people with similar problems and all say it was you guys blocking it and you had to go in and remove the block on the IP in question. How would I get you my IP so you can see and unblock it?

My business is experiencing the same issue.  We changed nothing on the server and all of a sudden, texts to @vtext.com are no longer received.  SMTP logs show the message going to txslspamp3.vtext.com.  Other carriers are fine, normal emails are fine.  This only began in the last few weeks.

Tried a whitelist request with verizononline.net and they say our IP is not blacklisted, so I am guessing vtext.com maintains a separate blacklist.   As a note, we have emails sent from 2 different domains on the server and one of them has been sending texts for over 2 years successfully before late Jan/ early Feb.

Wbadgett, we would not want anyone to have problems with messaging. When did this problem start for you? Are these devices able to receive messages from other servers?
