My monthly bill jumped by over $100 for the month of December and the detailed charges online don't even add up to the grand total! Nobody at Verizon can explain why and they bounced me around for hours the other day before putting me on an endless hold. Anyone else ever have this problem with them?? It has been a brutal experience trying to get an answer.
Print out November and December's bill and go over them line for line to see what's different. Never had my bill go up that much in all the years with verizon. Post back when you figure it out.
The itemization of the bill doesn't even add up to the total! Not to mention they couldn't explain the "surcharges" which went from $3 to $32
Noticed it has add ons 79 maybe that has something to do with surcharge just a guess I would figure out what the add on are and see if that's correct or not
Monthly charges is $79 (plan + phone payment). Add on is $17 for insurance. You would think Verizon would comment on this but they can't figure it out either.
For which month is those charges associated with? What are the charges for the other monthly bill?
Also that isn't the full detailed line by line charges.

@chrisnyr20 Those totals don't look very itemized. Are you getting them from a paper copy or the digital pdf because the latter will tell you exactly where the surcharges came from on which line.
If totals aren't matching the current cycle, it could be a balance that carried over from the previous month.
