Ok this really confuses me.
I have a friend in Florida, (i am from NJ) she tells me because Alltel and Verizon merged its free to call her.
Being cautious with my plans because i have done dumb things before I dont call her but want to.
I dont know what my plan features are, i have 700 minutes and 500 text which i usually almost use up.
Do i get charged more if i call her? Is it really free to call her if i have a basic family plan or whatever i have? Also does it matter if she has it and does that make it free?
Replies are very welcome this confuses me more than programming C++

Calling to Alltel customers does not use your minutes. Alltel #s are now considered "IN" the network or Mobile to Mobile.
However, as of now, it doesn't work the other way around..your Alltel friend will still use minutes while calling you.
But when you call her..talk all you want anytime of day.
