Does anyone know the best way about taking a phone overseas? My fiance is going in a few weeks. I see the rates are 1.99/min, and he will have coverage, but what about texting? Is it worth it to take a cell phone overseas for a year? HELP!
Your question needs a bit more research to be honest. It is very expsive right now at 1.99 and texting to and from a from another country. I would advise look into the new service avaible on some verizon phones SKPE. I would see if maybe he had a data phone with global data and the use skpe. get a set global fee and then much lower rates for talking on the phone.
