So i have a Samsug Glide and my mom keeps getting charged for my Megabyte useage, but I have no idea what that is. Does anyne know what it is and how do i stop it so we stop getting charged. Am i just saving too many pictures or something?
Megabyte usage can from a number of actions on your phone: anytime you open the Mobile Web browser, some games will charge MBs to share your score or download new content (tracks, levels..etc) or anytime you browse the Get It Now catalog to look for new ringtones, games, music or applications; and if you decide to buy any of those you'll be charged for the download as well.
So basically it's a transport charge for sending/receiving data on your phone.
If it's the web you think you're accessing, even accidentally, you can call to have this blocked from your device. Unfortunately for the Glyde device the only block that will work to block the web is called a National Access block. This will block ALL data to/from your phone, so this will unfortunately block MMS messages as well.
MMS (Picture/Video) messages will not charge Megabytes.
