You didn't say what type of phone you have, and I'm not familiar with the MR4 format....here's how I get ringtones to work on my phone (LG Voyager)....from my email program, I send the file attached to 5555555555@vzwpix.com , replacing the 5's with my 10 digit phone number, of course. The tone comes in as a picture message, and when I open it, the tone plays. I can then right soft key to select Options, then choose SAVE AS RINGTONE.
On my phone there is not a way to get the files into the ringtones folder any other way, but this works and works well, so I don't need another way!
