Low on Space icon....?

I have a Droid Ally LG 3g phone.  I have very few applications.  I have suspended unnecessay running services.  I recently purchased an 8 MB Scandisk.  However, despite all my "housecleaning efforts", I am still getting a "Low on Space" icon that appears on my toolbar.  What should I do?

Having that error message would be very irritating! Let's look into this quickly for you! Do you have alot of pictures or videos saved on the internal memory?

Let's check your available memory. To check this: Applications> Setting> SD & Phone Storage> available memory on the device.
