Is it ok to keep my Jetpack 4GLTE on continuous charge? Should I also shut it down when not using?

Jetpacks use Lithium Ion batteries. You can follow the normal Li-ion maintenance tips and tricks to preserve your battery with that device just like you would with any other. You can decide from there if you want to continuously charge or not based on your lifestyle and what works best for you.

That being said, leaving your Jetpack on 24/7 is not a good idea. These devices have a tendancy to heat up and break down quickly when used as a replacement for an always on internet connection. They were designed to work as a temporary hotspot for travelers and intended to be powered on/off frequently in normal use. If you attempt to leave your jetpack powered on for prolonged periods of time then you will have disconnection and performance issues.
It is much safer and consistent for you to power on your Jetpack, use it and then power it off when you are done.
