Is there anyway to add CDMA support to GSM devices (Lumia 1020) legally?

Please help me, I just received a new Lumia 1020 from Microsoft and I am desperate to get this device activated through VZW. However, in my deep discoveries, I now realize that Verizon only support CDMA devices, whereas mine is not. Is there anyway to install firmware or software onto my device that allows it to be on VZW network via CDMA? (LEGALY PLEASE)

It is a physical hardware limitation has there is no CDMA radio in the device and can only be activated on a GSM network.

Has you looked into activating it on a local GSM network? You could use it on ATT goPhone by purchasing the right size SIM card.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
