How do I go about switch responsibility from myself to another family member. The account is currently in my name but has 5 other lines for family members. I no longer need my line and my contract is expired. however the other members on the account still need and use their phones and want to assume the account.
Need info please on how to do this via the internet as I currently live outside the US
This isn't something you can do online. As the account owner, you would call customer care to authorize the person assuming liability of your account so that they can call in or go to a corporate store to put the account in their name, and to have your line canceled. A credit check is done when they go to assume liability, or they would pay a per line deposit.
