I am being called by a 6 digit scam number

I was called 3 times by a 6 digit number scam number   970-002  which I refuse to answer.  I was called  around  2pm, 4 pm,, and 7 pm.
I went on my Verizon account to block this number, but guess what ?  Verizon will only block 10 digit numbers ! 

If a Verizon help and support professional would help me that would be terrific.  If anyone knows what to do I would love to hear the help.
