I recently received a replacement LG basic phone and put backup assistant on it. Seems like that was a mistake, since there is no way to turn it off once its installed. How do I remove the app so it stops clogging up my system? I've looked in the tools and so forth, Looked online for answers. Am NOT happy with this app in the least. Whoever built this thing should think about giving real options like being able to turn the thing off and doing manual backups when I want to do them. I'm ranting though, How do you get rid of the $@$^@# thing?

Thanks! While that was great information, the option to turn off or disable the backup assistant wasn't one of the menu options. The phone is a LG Cosmos 3. Big points for new info! The quest continues...
