How do I get the previous pictures to not cover up the bottom of the current one?

On Message +,  when I try to look at the current picture message on full-screen, how do I get the previous pictures to not cover up the bottom of the current picture?

I love the Message+ application. It's my go to app for all my texting needs.  The Gallery presented when you move a picture to full screen does remain, there is not a way to remove it.
