How can I remove my ex from our shared data plan?

We have a shared data plan with multiple devices, I would like to take their phone off my plan....what options do I have?

Is their phone line under your name? Is it under contract? You may be able to get him to take over the line in his name. Or if it's no longer under contract and you can't get him to take over the account then you can cancel the line. He would have to get his own service though. You may have other options and it would be a great idea to contact Verizon directly to explore those options.
