How can I file a formal complaint against an employee of a Verizon Wireless store?

This past weekend my bag was stolen with all my personal belongings (passport, wallet, iPad, prescription glasses) while in Mexico and when I went to a Verizon Wireless store in Panorama City, California I had the WORST customer service in the world. I have been a loyal customer since 2006 and with the way that I was treated I feel beyond discourages to ever step foot into that specific store again. To add insult to injury this so called "consultant" had the nerve to tell me that "when customers purchase these electronics this is why we offer insurance". While that is a very valid reason I honestly did not feel that I had to worry about my things being stolen after I had NEVER had this issue happen to me. What can I do?

I'd take to social media, that's the best thing you can do. Write a review for that specific store. The only ways to contact Verizon are through snail mail, chat, phone call or physically going in.

Have you tried to locate your electronics with the Find My Phone feature?

Not that it helps, but I think you did the right thing not buying insurance. There is usually a $99-$199 deductible, on top of having to pay the monthly insurance fee. It typically comes out to being more than just buying a used one on Craigslist/Ebay etc.

Thank you so much for your reply!!  I've been so distracted with all these other issues of getting things back in order. It was truly just the most horrible service I have ever received and I will definitely write a review!

You didn't even say what happened.

I had my personal belongings stolen and Ana the specialist at Verizon in Panorama City kept asking me for a vaild form of ID AFTER I had explained twice what happened. After she attempted to "pursuade" me to open an additional line that I didn't need just to pay extra and have an extra line that I wouldn't use and to already feel bad enough that I had all my things stolen she was very blunt to say that this is why I should have gotten insurance so I was able to get a new ipad.

While I wont argue that yes that would have been ideal ... the fact of the matter is that I explained to Ana what the situation was I was already stressed out with having no form of identification to only have her keep giving me a hard time and did not attempt to help me figure out a solution on how to get a new ipad without having to open an additional line of service. She was beyond rude, she could have cared less and her objective throughout the conversation was to have me add on additional services that again I woudn't have needed. I failed to mention she did this infront of other customers instead of being modest about my circumstance and she found it difficult to believe my belongings were stolen since ahe didn't allow me to confirm any information on the account.
