New phone...purchased today. Phone indicator shows that it is charging...however, the battery percentage is dropping at about 1% every ten minutes. WiFi is the only thing running. Location, Bluetooth, etc are all off. Tried two chargers in variety of outlets and USB connection. All produce the same results. My phone will be dead shortly. Help?

driceva,
Oh no! Let's revive the phone. Are you using the charger that came in the box? Do you have the ability to try a different battery in the device? Does it do the same thing?

Where / how did you purchase the phone? What phone is it? Oops, re-read the subject line.... If it was at a Verizon store, take it back as a defective, DOA device. If it was through a third party, eBay, swappa, etc, then contact them to get your $$ back.
If it IS a private purchase, it may just be a bad battery. You can typically get OEM batteries for reasonable prices at online cellular accessory stores, and I've found them to be pretty quick on delivery times too. Depending on how much you've already spent on this phone, you may consider trying a new battery before giving up on it ...
