Frustrated with my online order

I placed an online order for the new iPhone 11 Pro-max after being told it could pick it up in-store the same day. The only store open during this craziness. After waiting for a couple of hours, I called the store to check in my order. Store was not open. Called customer service and was told the store was open but not answering the phone. Hours later, tried and again and was told the store was not open again. My husband’s phone is completely dead and he needs a phone for work. I called to cancel my order so I could run to Best Buy and buy 1 since Best Buy was open. Spent almost 2 hours on the phone then he hung up on me. Spent another 30 min on hold calling back and she assured me she canceled my order. Guess what? Still can’t order a new phone because Verizon is still showing an order so I cannot upgrade my husband’s phone. I’m beyond frustrated with Verizon. We’ve stuck with Verizon for years even paying a lot more than we would with other phone companies. What the heck Verizon?
