Is there a way to tell if the people I have entered in friends and family are already Verizon users?  I might be just "burning" a number if they are.

I generally takes 24 hours for the number to be added onto the account, and during this point it will verify that the numbers are not verizon wireless. If you make an error, it will kick it off the list.

If you need to know if any given number is a Verizon number you can check it on the below web site.   Normally, the posting of web sites is a forum violation but I'm hoping the moderator will allow this one because it is merely a link right here to Verizon which is within our network and not a third-party web site:
