Hi there! I have Family Base for my kiddo, and for the most part it works great. This evening I ran into a new problem. I have night hour restrictions so there are no calls or texts after 8pm. Today, I noticed that text messages from emails, and not phone numbers, do not follow this restriction. I'm not even seeing it in the activity or contacts. I've had email message show up in the activity before, and I was able to edit the contact info. This time nothing. They are both @yahoo emails. Can anyone shine some light on this? Thanks!

Yes it sounds like a system problem that Verizon needs to address, if Verizon comes across your post here they may address it, otherwise maybe try chat through My Verizon at least they can point toward the right contact phone number, I am not finding anything FamilyBase specific at the moment, you'd think that they would have a dedicated support line for it since it is vitally important for customers to be able to control their kids access and usage.

Per the Family Base FAQs these messages should also be restricted:
Can I send text and multimedia messages to an email address when I have an active FamilyBase Control, such as a messaging restriction, on my device?
You can send and receive text and multimedia messages to and from email addresses, but any messaging restrictions that have been set up will still apply to email addresses.

Thank you for your response.
Yes, previously this has been true. For some reason, recently this hasn't worked. Yesterday, even with the restriction in place (no messages after 8pm) the kiddo was getting messages at 9 and 9:30. All the messages from the email, throughout the day and in the evening, did not show up in the daily activity or the list of all contacts.
I guess maybe I should be addressing/complaining about this to a FamilyBase tech (if they exisit).
