Why do so many Verizon customers feel like they are entitled to anything that they want. "I feel that new customers are treated better than existing customers. They can get the same pricing that we can get" Is that not the same thing that you did when you got your service started? I doubt you were complaining about getting an iPhone for 199.99.
"I'm so loyal. Why can't I get a discount? I will leave if I don't get one." Doesn't sound very loyal to me.
I have an old unlimited plan, paying about $130 each month. T Mobile has offered me the same, for about $80.They have excellent coverage in my area as well. I declined. You know why? Loyalty! I was taught, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"
