Employer discounts

Hi, I decided to switch to Verizon in September because they offer a very decent discount through my employer.  The day I signed up, the man told me it should take no more than two billing cycles and took a picture of my badge, which he said was adequate.  I patiently waited three billing cycles and became frustrated, so I chatted with a Verizon rep.  I was told that it takes a while longer with the method he chose of taking a picture of my badge.  It has been six months now and I have not received the discount.  I am frustrated as this is the reason I switched to Verizon.  Does anyone have any experience with this?  I also did not receive the discount when buying a charger in store a month or two ago because my account had no active discounts on it.  The employee in the store said if I was told it would be applied, it would, and that I needed to wait.  I'm not getting anywhere in the store or online... Advice?
