Yes I press and release the factory reset option on the boot menu. It just

continues to do the robot loop.

Then I would take it to a corporate store for them to reset

Will they help me, even though my phone is past warranty?

I would think they would at least do a master reset. You are not wanting a new device, just to get out of the reboot loop.

I just want to make sure, once you highlight the Master Rest Option by using the volume buttons, are you using the power button to choose it? Don't press and hold the power button, just press and release

@ Azsaluki, any ideas? It always worked for me in the past

none. if a factory reset doesn't work, the OP is going to need a new device. i've seen verizon work with people even after the one year warranty is up. it's obviuosly a malfunction. i haven't had the boot loop issue with mine so i haven't had to deal with this.

early upgrades are a possibility in some situations, but almost never happen at store level. the stores are monitored very closely on upgrade exceptions and are normally not allowed. Customer service has more leeway, and can probably help you if your nearing an upgrade
