Sometime in the wee hours of October 28, the time on my Samsung S6 jumped ahead an hour. I'm not talking about an app.
About 3:30 a.m., the time spontaneously re-set and corrected itself.
I wasn't moving between time zones (wasn't moving at all) or playing with settings.
Anyone else notice this? For those of us who rely on our phones as alarms, this kind of glitch could be awfully inconvenient.

Could it be related to this person's SuzyQ issue? Time zone confusion
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Thanks for forwarding a link to that previous thread, it does seem similar. I am in the same geographic area, the San Francisco Bay Area, as the other customers whose phones were spontaneously switching time zones last week.

The time zone switch has not happened again that I am aware of. Manually setting it to Pacific time, and leaving it set to manual for a day, then returning to automatic seems to have resolved it.
Now, to see what happens this weekend when it's SUPPOSED to change by an hour!!
