Yesterday morning I attempted to dial 911 on my LG Extravert to report suspicious activity in my neighborhood. The first few calls I made took about a minute to go through, then I got a recording that the number I had dialed was incomplete or had changed. The last attempt finally went through to a dispatcher. I had a fully charged battery and full signal strength and the phone did go into Emergency mode but would not connect the call. Why would this have happened?
Ensuring your phone is able to dial 911 when needed is extremely important cskipper. I am sorry to learn you experienced difficulites. Allow us to get to the bottom of this to ensure it does not happen in the future.
The first time you dialed 911, did you ensure you did not dial a "*" or "#" first? Can you also ensure that your E911 location is enabled. To verify this select menu>settings>phone settings>location>E911 enabled. We look forward to hearing from you.
