Data overuse - overcharging with no "

I have had 5 phones on my verizon plan for several years, this month two users on my plan changed and "upgraded" to a 5s.  For years the data plan limit has been 6 MB and we didn't ever exceed.  Nobobody is using data differently but we have had to increase to 8 then 10 and now I have to go up to 12 MB to avoid data charges.  This MUST be the 5S as that's the only change.

I am experiencing the same issue and it is only on the Iphone 5 on the plan that is using over 6 GB a month.  We use to get by with 8 GB for all 5 phones.  What is going on?  I want an answer and tell me it is the wifi.  We looked into that there is something else going on.
