My wife and I have two Verizon Samsung U450 prepaid phones. We have had these two exact same phones and the exact same numbers for over two years. We are going to buy two Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 phones. We want to keep our existing phone numbers on these two phones. I have tried the "transfer the existing number" options at both Verizon's web site and on Amazon. However, both times it has told me that the numbers are not transferable! I have talked to customer support on the Verizon web site (live chat) and Amazon's customer support (telephone) and they both told me I could transfer these numbers.
Does anyone know why the online ordering is saying these numbers are not transferable when everyone in support tells me I can transfer them?
