Charged for Edge Up phone. Anyone else?


I have tried for 3 months to get a resolution to problem with Verizon. I have been a customer for about 15 years. I had 5 phones and a tablet on the account. I edged up one of the phones and the phone was damaged in shipping. They charged me for this phone. I tried and tried to get this taken off. So finally I have ported all my numbers to Straight Talk which is saving me about half the money. I will have to pay the balance I owe Verizon but they won't get any more money out of me. Verizon is a rip off and pitiful customer service.

I'm not sure who does it, but did you or Verizon file a claim with USPS? (I'm assuming that is how it was shipped.) They would have had to take photos of the destroyed shipping box.

What about it didn't work after it was shipped?
