I signed up for phone insurance when I got my phone in June (the Verizon representative didn't specifiy the name of the plan but it costs $11/month with a $169 deductible), and I realize now that it's really not a necessity for me. I've always been a bit obsessive about taking care of electronics, and old habits were renewed when I got an iPhone and since then I've [sadly?] treated it like a small child. Thus, I want to cancel the insurance. Anyone know where/how to do this? I've done quite a bit of research and all I've been able to learn is that you CAN cancel insurance, but I have no idea how to actually go about doing it.
Thanks for your help!
Joe

Dial *611 from your Verizon phone and speak to a customer service rep. They'll be able to cancel the insurance for you.
