So does it matter what plan someone has for it to be free after 9pm calling? Or is it only specific plans?

It doesn't affect you at all. After 9 it doesn't matter who you call. Another Verizon phone, another mobile phone company or even an old fashion POTS line.

Alright.. I was just curious because one of my friends only gets 25 minutes in his plan, so I was wondering if it's free for him still, or if it's just a specific plan.

It's all dependent on his plan. If you have it and he doesn't he gets charged per minute you don't.

What kind of plan does he have that he only gets 25 minutes a month?

He has the family plan I think, so they get 100 minutes split between 4 of them.

I do not know of any Family Plans that only have 100 minutes.. I have the first tier plan and it has 700 minutes..

He might be on a legacy plan from long ago. Either that they have more minutes than that but then using parental controls only allow 25 minutes.

It's probably that, I really don't know... But he gets charged when he goes over the 25 minutes, so would he still get charged after 9pm or no?

He is going to have to look at the plan. If it is that limited, he will be the only one to be able to tell if he has nights and weekends free. I would assume, but they should check themselves.
