Thanks for your post! We need to get those contacts backed up! What kind of phone do you have? What is the exact error message you receive? Are you able to connect to other data services such as picture messages, or the mobile web?

I am also experiencing a problem with backup assistant.  Recently, I have been getting a "database error" when Backup Assistant runs daily.  I have a VS9104G, running Android ver 2.3.6 and SW ver VS910ZV9.
