Associate Mistake

I recently purchase a samsung s6 edge with verizon and the sale associate told me i could get 300 dollar credit if i sent in my old t mobile phone. Well the offer had expired the day before. An she had told me I would get a email or text about the trade in. What can i do about that because  thats the main reason i agreed and i already went over the 14 days because i thought i would get a text or email.
