50% off android lie

Tell me if I am incorrect.  There is a special rite now if you trade in your phone, and join edge you can get a android 50% off.   Well when I read it it is actually 100 dollars off the phone, and a 300 dollar gift card that CAN NOT BE USED TO PAY PHONE DOWN.  So why say you can get a phone up to 50% when its really just 100 dollars off and a 300 dollar gift card.  Why trick people,

I apologize if there was some confusion. The 50% off Android is for new smartphone line activations. It does require trading your old device.

If VZW give a VZW GC it is good for anything VZW related. How about some creative money shuffling. If the GC can't be used to pay the phone down you take $300 cash and pay the phone down and use the GC to pay your bill. It's the same thing.

New line activations, trade in, PLUS YOU MUST BE SWITCHIGN FROM ANOTHER COMPANY  to get the half off price.  I would gladly add another line to get the half off, but im nor porting in from another carrier so it doesn't count Verizon Wireless Customer Support
