All the new people to verizon should be okay, because they didn't start with this BS...

I just found out today that the 10GB plan's price was drop to $80/month from $100/month.

I wasn't notified about the price change, I've been paying $100 till now!

Don't they usually get/change you to the lowest price of the plan, when they change it? or at least notify the customer about the price change?

AT&T did it for me automatically, when they had their price change... I thought Verizon's service would be better... since they charge more... i guessed wrong...


So I called in, and apparently, no representative are feeling bad about this situation, they were nice, but nothing.

As if Verizon always have done their plans changes this way.

It almost sounded like, its my fault, cuz I didn't check on Price of their plan everyday... REAllLLLLY?

SO please, if you have 10gb plan, go check your price... I might just save you $20 a month.

Apparently Verizon doesn't wants you to know that they lowered their price.

GO check and save $$

You better change the plan yourself today. That 10 GB plan for 80 promotion ends on the 31st of January.

It's always been that you change the plan on your own. It was on the bill for 3 months in a row in the notifications section. You didn't check the bill, so you didn't see the offer and get it before now. Whose fault is that?

I guess some of the customer are just royal verizon customers... saying this is my fault... lol

I don't check my statement, as long as around same amount of money was auto-debited from my checking account. I don't even get the bills thru mail.

I do log in and check my statement, when I see lower or higher monthly bill from verizon is applied to my checking account.

And as I said, when I was with At&t  with iPhone, and they lower their rates, they lowered my rate automatically, I didn't have to log in, call-in to change it. That is the way it should be... don't you think? Because who would NOT take that price change? its same exact plan for -$20... do they think their customers are dumb to just skip over $20?

Again, Im just posting this up here to save some other customers money too. I don't think like verizon XD

by the way, I just checked my statement, but there is nothing about their new rates... maybe your statement is special? or Verizon just doesn't like me ? XD

You can also get 15GB for the same $100 rate you were paying. How is Verizon supposed to know what would work better for you?  If you look at value, the 15GB is acutally the better price per GB, it works out to be $6.66 per GB.

with the 10GB it would be $8/GB.  So the value is up to the customer.

On a side note, I would be upset if they change my account without my permission.

just like what you said... "I CAN" get 15gb, but shouldn't they notify me about their plan rate change? OR if they are going to keep me at $100 rate, automatically up my service? Nope, they just don't do anything and keep me at 10GB for $100.

I've been paying 10GB $100 rate, when they changed 10GB for $80 and 15GB for $100 rate without any notification. So again... do you really think whats going on here is making sense? They are just trying to keep people as long as possible  in expensive rate, until they find out about it.

Maybe I'm just wrong, maybe usual verizon customer comes to verizonwireless.com site to check the rate change everyday...

Again, I posted to verizon site about this matter, so if people googles something like my issue, they can come and look, see whats going on and save their money.

I didn't expect all these verizon fans telling me that I'm wrong for not checking their daily rates... what is this? oil price/ air line ticket we are talking about? lol, don't get me wrong here, coverage wise I like the verizon best, I used ATT, Tmobile. but so far I like the Verizon best.

Unless you live under a rock the ads for the changes are also ridiculous. I see it about 10 times a day all over the internet, another 4 or 5 times per time I drive with the radio on, plus a good 3 or 4 times on TV at night. And this has been for the last 3 Months.

Its illegale for verizon to autochange a plan without your explicit concent. Just like any other service (electric, cable).

They can if you are month to month, as in, not under contract.
