Change DNS to openDNS for content filtering
txmarsh
Newbie

I'm thinking of getting an iphone for my son.  I would like to cofnigure the DNS server to use openDNS so that adult websites can be blocked when he is on the cellular network.  Is this possible (hint... the answer should be yes... I hope that it is!)  I know verizon allows you to block indiviudal websites but there are really too many adult websites out there for me to be able to type them all in... and google can always find another.

Thanks.

txmarsh,

Protecting your family is a HUGE deal to us here. And you bring up a good question. At this time, we do not offer a DNA configuration option for our network, though you can alter your home Wi-Fi connection. But we do offer content filtering on different devices that allows you to set what your son is able to view via his device http://vz.to/19Z7h80 .
