what are 4/5 digit numbers considered?

I send and recieve texts to these numbers, but since I saw when I type #data on my phone, I saw I had 3 international messeges, I wanted to make sure I wasn't getting charged extra if I were sending and recieving texts from these 4 or 5 digit phone numbers since I knew that my unlimited messenging only counts for IM, and Domestic texting.

So what are 4 or 5 digit phone numbers considered as? Domestic? In-Network? International? I really want to make sure.

I have a Family Select Plan which I believe includes unlimited texting, so will that cover it?

By the way a bit off subject, but if I were sending emails through my phone by just typing the email instead of the phone number.. What will those messages be considered as and will my plan cover it?

No there would be a charge attached to them.

4 to 5 numbers in general are premium text messages.  And if you know a number is international it is.

So if it is an international 'premium' text message would my plan be able to cover it? and in the case it is a domestic 'premium' text message would my plan be able to cover that too?

Yes I know that, But are these 'premium' text messages (if they we're domestic) covered by my texting plan?

That is not entirely correct. Not all 4/5 digit numbers are premium texts with additional charges.

Examples:

Twitter : 40404

Myspace: 69772

Facebook: 32665

These are common 5 digit numbers used to text your status updates and do not aquire additional charges outside of normal texting fees if you are not on a text plan. If you have a text plan, it takes from your texting allowance.

Its ok :smileyhappy: Not many know about those 3. They are among the few that I know do not come with additional charges, but there is a horde that does.

Be nice if we could get a clean-cut list of codes. The ones found online doesn't list em all.
