Only if your device has a trash folder that deleted items are sent

Only if it had been backed up first.  There are several apps on Google Play that do this; I use SMS Backup.

I use it also. I never go back to look at posts, but they are archived in their own email account

At this time, we don't offer a way to retrieve deleted text messages. Depending on your device, there are third party applications that will allow you to back-up your text messages.
