blocking text but allowing calls

can i block a text message but allow calls from the same cellphone?  or if i block a number it is blocked for both?

When you block a number from contacting you, it blocks both Txt and Calls. The only way you can block texts is if you place Usage Controls on your line, which is a $4.99/month feature
